1 Bruces HP/Lennie Gallant zu Gast bei B. Songwriter Circle

Ich fand gerade bei <!-- e --><a href="mailto:Guthrofans@yahoogroups.com">Guthrofans@yahoogroups.com folgende Mitteilung von Stephen Antle (Bruces Operations Manager):

Es gab wohl einige Klagen, weil die Termine von Bruce auf der HP so langsam auf den neuesten Stand gebracht werden. Sie können die Website nicht selbst ändern, da sie auf ihren Web-Host und Web Administrator angewiesen sind und bei dem müssen sie manchmal 2 Wochen warten bis die Änderung tatsächlich auf der HP erscheint. Sie wollen das System nun ändern und sind auch auf der Suche nach einer Software, mit der sie alles selbst machen können. Bis dahin muss wohl auch der Fanclub warten, damit sie ihn auf so interessant gestalten können, wie sie ihn sich vorstellen. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Weinen" />

Stephen nannte auch einige Termine von Bruce in Kanada und Bruce wird einen neuen Songwriter Circle im Casino NS am 28.9. moderieren mit den Gästen LENNIE GALLANT, Ron Hynes und Susan Crowe. Wir sollten unsere Anfrage an das Runrig-Office und vielleicht auch an Bruces vorher losschicken! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_idea.gif" alt=":idea:" title="Idee" /> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_exclaim.gif" alt=":!:" title="Ausrufezeichen" />

Hat irgend jemand eine Idee, wie man eine Videoaufnahme der Sendung kommt, die im kanadischen TV übertragen wird.

Bruce ist wohl gesten in Deutschland gelandet um dann nach Dänemark weiterzufliegen.

Ich hoffe, ich habe alles richtig verstanden, vielleicht kann ja auch jemand die englische Nachricht hier zitieren?

Ich geh jetzt auch mal in der Yahoogroup lesen. Ich geh da nicht oft meine Mails abrufen. Falls ich die Nachricht verstehe dann kann ich dir hier auch antworten bzw. sagen ob ich es auch so verstanden habe.

Was? Bruce ist hier gelandet? Wo? Dann hätte er doch mit den DKlern weiterfahren können. lööl

Hello All,

Hope you are all having a great summer - it is nice and sunny here
in Chester Basin today.
Just to explain how our website works - we have a web host and a
website administrator. We are unable to update the website ourselves
and are at the mercy of our web administrator's busy schedule.
When we arranged for the website to be designed and hosted, we had
many features we wanted to implement on the site, and we figured
they would be up by now. It takes up to 2 weeks for any of my
updates to make it to our site. The fan club was designed in a
rough draft form, and I vetoed it because it didn't have the
elements we wanted, and we want to launch the fan club as a complete
entity and something that will really grab people's attention and
interest in joining.
So we are currently looking at software that will allow me to update
the website MYSELF AND IN REAL TIME. Then I will be responsible for
the up-to-date content and I will accept the criticism that will
come.

Here are a few other dates of interest this fall for Bruce:
CCMA Sept 8-11 St. John NB - Bruce will be hosting the CCMA Industry
Awards Dinner on Sunday Sept. 10. Bruce will be appearing at the
Songwriter's Cafe on Saturday Sept. 9, 5:15pm at the Delta Brunswick
Ballroom.
There is a tentative date at the Rebecca Cohn for Oct 12, Pt.
Hawkesbury (Bearhead Room in the new Civic Centre) Oct 13, and the
Savoy for Oct 14. There will be shows in NB and PEI, no
confirmations as of yet. November 3 - Chester Playhouse (NS),
November 4 Osprey Arts Centre (Shelburne, NS), and November 5 at the
King's Theatre in Annapolis Royal, NS.
Also, a Songwriter's Circle event will take place at Casino NS on
September 28 featuring Bruce, Lennie Gallant, Ron Hynes, and Susan
Crowe.
Bruce is in Germany today, flying on to meet the band and heading to
Denmark for some shows this week.
