@Ceinwyn: yes I agree, a lifetime is too short. Skye is beautiful. I'm going there in April, hopefully. I also wish to go to the Highlands soon, I might do it next year on my ''year out'' after school, and before university. I hope you get to visit the many places you wish to go.

@Mia: Ich will eine Übersetzerin sein. Hoffentlich, will ich in Schottland arbeiten. There is one in Skye where I can translate German, and also one in Inverness where I can do Gaidhlig and German. I'm sorry to hear about you not being able to become a flight attendant <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Traurig" /> . Life is unfair. What else is it that you would like to do?

At the moment I am in parental leave. I have a little son. He is two and a half years old. The parental leave will end in August this year and then I´ll turn back to my work at the temporary employment agency.

But that´s no work for a lifetime. Flight attendant would be my absolutely dream work. I am trying to find a cure for the neurodermatitis but it´s not easy. Else I would like to do something with webdesign. I attended an advanced education for e-commerce. I passed the exam as I was pregnant.

If I would have the choice I would prefer the Flight attendant but for my son it would be better if I choose something where I come home in the evening or where I can work at home most of the time. I will see what the future will include (?) for me.

His name is Elias. He is a frisky boy and really snoopy <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Lachen" /> . Skye must be wonderful. I´m really looking forward to visit. You´re right. Family is important especially for Elias. His father and me live apart since he became three months. I am trying to compensate where I can but a mother is still a mother and I can´t substitute a father figure. For me it´s no problem but sometimes I think a father would be good for him. But thats life. There is no guarantee that it always works the way you´d like to have. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Winken" />

Webdesign is very interesting. It´s many sided and varied. You have only two possibilities. It works or it doesn´t work. You need a good concept and you have to work with precision. If not you can get a lot of trouble because of being under time pressure. Finding the mistake needs it´s time and when you have to check a lot of documents with hundreds of codes sometimes you can get batty. But when you have finished your work and you can see the result it is a real good feeling <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smilie" /> .

I hope to become a flight attendant one day, too. If not, life goes on even though. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Winken" />

Sounds like you´ve had a real great birthday. I´m really pleased. But with Haggis you can chase me. Hopefully you don´t take it personal but most germans have a quirky taste. Me, too. We learned at school what Haggis is and most of my classmates just said "yuck".
