1 Runrig Geburtstags-Aktion

Nachdem ich diesen Beitrag schon halb fertig hatte und mein Netbook dann ohne Vorwarnung Updates installiert hat, fehlt mir jetzt der Nerv, alles noch mal zu tippen.. Ihr könnt alle Englisch, oder? Daher hier erstmal die Version aus dem SG Forum... Vielleicht kann mir auch jemand beim Übersetzen helfen. Es geht jedenfalls um eine kleine Fanaktion zum 41. Geburtstag nächste Woche Montag.. Ihr könnt mitmachen, wenn ihr ein Facebook oder Twitter Profil habt bzw. euch zulegen wollt...

A few days ago an idea came to my mind while being on my way to work and listening to - of course - Runrig... Next Monday is the day of days: The 41st Anniversary! So, what if we are doing a big birthday bash with some kind of Runrig flashmob? After some lively discussions and a voting in the Runrig fans group on Facebook we decided to do the following:

The winning RUNRIG BIRTHDAY BASH format is the option using a line or phrase from your favorite Runrig song and decorating it with a picture of your own creation. This can be everything you’ve made yourself such as a painting, cut letters, a cake, stitch work (if you are that quick, haha), computer art, or maybe a special personal photo.

Send me a private message when you need further explanation. I can also send you one or two examples to let your creativity starting to flow!

Please remember the idea is for us to create something for this uniquely creative and talented band, so my suggestion is that we use only our own photos, no public or published ones.

So, here's what you have to do:

1) Create your photo with the phrase from your fave song and save it.

2) Upload your photo on Monday, April 28th from 4:00pm GMT onwards (check www.worldtimebuddy.com for your local time) to one or both sites:

TWITTER: twitter.com/runrig1973

3) As the message I would suggest the following text:
Happy Birthday from [insert your city and country] ‪#‎RR41‬

I think it will be interesting to see where the congratulations are coming from but this is up to you. Only important thing is to include the hashtag!

Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, macht sie das, was wir schon im Thread, interpretiert Titel oder Textzeilen von Runrig songs, seid geraumer Zeit tun. :lol:

Und nein, es ist ein bisschen anders gemeint...

Es geht nicht darum, ein Foto zu posten, welches sich auf eine Song-Zeile beziehen lässt. Es geht darum, die Zeile selbst als Bild zu posten.
Also dass man sie IM Bild lesen kann..

Aber prinzipiell wäre auch das egal.. Hauptsache, das Runrig Facebook und Twitter Profil ist am Montag voller Bilder und Gratulationen von ganz vielen Riggies aus aller Welt

Nee, bitte sowohl bei Twitter als auch bei Facebook den Hashtag nutzen!
Danach kann man nämlich filten und bekommt dann alle Posts, die mit diesem Hashtag versehen wurden. Also im Fall von #RR41 sieht das momentan noch so aus, wird am Montag aber hoffentlich ganz viel werden:
