I am new here and I would like you to speak English with me in order to keep fit in it!!

Maybe about our last holidays in Scotland?

Unfortunately my last holiday in Scotland was in 1997 when Donnie Munro celebrated his Farewell. I thought it a good idea to go to Scotland and particpate in the last concerts but I booked the rooms to early and had to leave Scotland when Donnie sang the last time at Sterling. So the only farewell concert I attended was in Germany in Tanzbrunnen.

we seem to have something in common. The only farewell concert I was at was in Germany in Tanzbrunnen as well.

I was there with a most awful <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt="" title="Geschockt" /> (ex)friend of mine who had nothing else to do but to spill water over me.
I was standing right in front of the stage and unneccessary as it is to mention, I felt terribly ashamed because Mr Munro, Mr Jones and Mr Wishart were looking at me. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Verlegen" />
And in addition to that Mr Wishart seemed a little annoyed, so was Mr Munro I suppose, who shortly after that disappeared in the back. Since I am rather small I could see him standing in the back looking tensed up to my direction. Hey! It wasn't my fault, was it??? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_eek.gif" alt=":shock:" title="Geschockt" />

must have been very embarassing <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Verlegen" /> although I can't see why they should blame you. It was definitely was not your fault. They probably thought the same as you did. What an awfuk friend....
