I got some votes of thanks for my messageboard-joke-translation <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="" title="Auf den Arm nehmen" /> . But before I will butcher a thanksgiving-bird, please let me hear wether it´s ok and what´s wrong. Some parts were very difficult, although I think I took the sense of the words. Mostly I tried to make an exact translation, but some parts became free, and on top of that I felt in my hometown-slang. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt=":oops:" title="Verlegen" />

So i'll try to tell a little story from the runrig book "going home":

In the early days of band history money was always wee. But everytime the guys try using best technology to make a good performance. Outside big citys everywhere the capacity of electric was low and one day, seconds after the onslaught of malcolms guitar the light goes down, silence all over- what's happened? Behind the scene- backstage -Donnies mother is cooking tee with an electric-cook. A very good idea in one case but the timing ..........
Don’t know what happens to Mrs. Munro after that, there was no information in the book about.
