A catholic priest, a British Lord and an Scottish shepherd compete against each other in a quiz-show.
After the stage of questions all is draw. The moderator has to ask the last question:
"Please prepare to rhyme a four lines poem in five minutes on TIMBUKTU"
the three candidates stepped back.
After five minutes the Lord presents:
"Slowly 'cross the desert sand
Trekked the dusty caravan.
Men on camels, two by two
Destination-Timbuktu."
The audience applauses respectful.
The next is the priest with the following:
"I was a father all my life,
I had no children, had no wife,
I read the bible through and through
on my way to Timbuktu..."
the audience is enthusiastic and keeps the churchman as safely victorious
Yet the Scotsman starts:
"When Tim and I to Brisbane went,
we met three ladies cheap to rent.
They were three and we were two,
so I booked one and Tim booked two..."
