Die schottische Band Salsa Celtica, bekannt für ihre einzigartige Fusion aus Salsa und keltischer Musik, veröffentlicht am 6. Juni 2025 ihr Album „25th Anniversary Big Band Live in Concert“. Das Live-Album entstand ursprünglich im Rahmen eines Jubiläumskonzerts beim renommierten Festival Celtic Connections im Jahr 2020.
Die Band gründete sich im Jahr 1995 und hatte geplant, das 25-jährige Jubiläum mit einer umfangreichen Tournee zu feiern. Aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie konnten diese Pläne leider nicht realisiert werden. Kürzlich entdeckte die Band die fast vergessene Aufnahme ihres Jubiläumskonzerts wieder, ließ sie professionell mischen und produziert nun daraus ein eindrucksvolles Album.
