Eigentlich dachte ich das sich die Band verkleinern will. Dem ist nicht so und so stehen bald bis zu 10 Musiker auf der Bühne.

We are delighted to bring you our full line-up for 2026! There’s many familiar names you will no doubt recognise and a few new ones too! There’s likely to be a few additions, some guests and deps along the way!
𝗔𝗻𝗴𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹 - 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀
Skipinnish founder, accordion player and songwriter from the Island of Tiree.
𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 - 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀

𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲 𝗠𝗰𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 – 𝗙𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲
Archie has been a Skipinnish highlight for over 25 years and will continue to bring his virtuoso fiddling playing and powerful energy to our shows.
𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘁 – 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿
From Grimsay, North Uist, James, who we introduced to you back in December, has performed as lead singer with us in the past and has also recorded with us before. We’re delighted to have him back on board!
𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗲𝗿 – 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀
Rachel Walker’s stunning voice will be familiar to you all as she has performed regularly with Skipinnish since we formed and features on all Skipinnish recordings as both lead or backing vocalist. An award-winning singer and composer, Rachel has been a hugely important part of Skipinnish over the years and will be into the future.
𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 – 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀
From the Isle of Lewis, Mischa is a multi-award-winning singer whose immense talent will bring an exciting extra dimension to the vocals along with James and Rachel. Having toured extensively with her own band and led a number of acclaimed musical projects and collaborations, she will be a wonderful addition to Skipinnish for most of the shows this year.
𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁 – 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺𝘀
Andrew will be a new face to most Skipinnish fans and having seen him in action we can’t wait to let you feel his power on the drum kit along with Skipinnish! He’s from Edinburgh and honed his trade at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
𝗖𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗰𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗻 – 𝗞𝗲𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀
Cailean, from Ardgeal, near Aviemore is one of the most talented young musicians in Scotland. Having attended the National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music in Plockton, we are delighted that Skipinnish will be part of the early stages of what is sure to be a very successful career in music ahead. Being the son of well-known fiddle player, Charlie McKerron of Capercaillie, he is of very strong musical pedigree!
𝗘𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 – 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘀
Euan is a stalwart of the Traditional Music scene in Scotland and is in high demand as a bassist, recording engineer and producer. Having had him as a guest on bass in the past, we are delighted that he has managed to find the time between other commitments to join us on bass for a number of our 2026 shows!
𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗺𝘂𝗶𝗿 – 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿
Davie has played with us regularly in the past and has recorded with Skipinnish many times over the years. Renowned as one of the top electric guitarists in the Scotland, we are delighted that he will be back on stage with us for some shows this year!
We’re excited to get everyone together very soon for rehearsals to get Walking on the Waves, The Island, Alive, Last of the Hunters, The Hag and all your other Skipinnish favourites ready to blast out across the country on our spring tour this May!
