Hier der Text von Facebook:

RUNRIG: THERE MUST BE A PLACE
We are thrilled to finally be in a position to announce full details of the Runrig documentary – There Must Be A Place!
The 100-minute film charts the Runrig story from early beginnings on Skye in 1973, through playing to 50,000 fans at Loch Lomond, the exhaustive search to find a new lead singer, right up to The Last Dance farewell concerts, again in front of 50,000 fans, in 2018. We gave BAFTA award-winning Blazing Griffin (producers of The Last Dance film) unprecedented access to the band’s personal archives to ensure that this is the definitive Runrig story.

The film is credited with 54 songs, including rousing renditions of Loch Lomond and Hearts of Olden Glory, capturing the close emotional connection between the band and you, our loyal fans. We’ll have some surprises for you all in the run up to release and we’re so excited to be able to tell this story.

There Must Be A Place is available to pre-order now from Cherry Red Records (UK) and Sony Music Germany (Europe) for release on the 29th October. Both suppliers have put together some incredible, bespoke collector’s packages which include the full film on DVD and Blu Ray as well as some exclusive extras.
While the packages vary from the supplier, the film is identical no matter where you order from and anyone in the world can order from either supplier. More details can be found from the links below.

Note: The Cherry Red exclusive products will only be available for pre-orders until 14th of July, so don’t miss out! Sony's exclusive bundle will be available from the below link in the next 24 hours.

Rory Macdonald: “It is a privilege to have our story documented in this manner. The narrative is well observed, and the film sequences are compelling. We thank director Jack Cocker and the whole BG team for such a sympathetic and insightful critique of our career in music.”

Calum Macdonald: “This documentary has been many years in the making, and in its making it has, at times, mirrored the very narrative portrayed on film. 45 years is a big canvas to cover and, from our Last Dance concerts in 2018, through to the realities and challenges of the global pandemic, Blazing Griffin has worked resolutely to bring this film to a place of completion and excellence”.

Steven Little, Producer: “It’s been an absolute honour to make this heartfelt documentary. The band members trusted us with their most prized possessions, including an incredible collection of private images, packed with personal stories, triumphs and unforgettable moments. We are thrilled with the finished film and can’t wait to hear what Runrig’s fans worldwide have to say. I’m sure they’re going to love it.”
