"FURTHER DVD UPDATE
It is with great regret that we have to report the following update regarding The Last Dance film. All footage and audio from the event has been lost. We had planned to release the concert as both a film and a CD later on in the year but, unfortunately, this is no longer possible. We hope you will all accept our sincere apologies for this - we are all as disappointed as you are. The manner in how this happened is equally as distressing but we feel we owe it to you to be honest before any rumours start to circulate.
During a late night editing session, after the rest of the band had called it a night, Iain and Malcolm found themselves alone, discussing levels in the audio mix. It was of Iain’s belief that the snare drum during the drum section wasn’t loud enough. Malcolm, however, felt that it was fine and, if anything, could maybe be taken down a wee bit. After both repeating their arguments several times, and several glasses of whisky later, things escalated when the words “if you are so concerned about musical nuances, then you shouldn’t have become a drummer” were uttered.
A bottle of Highland Park missed Malcolm’s head by just a few inches and shattered on the wall behind him. Unfortunately, the computer containing the only copies of all the footage was underneath the bottle when it smashed and the whisky flooded the main unit. The hard drive was damaged beyond repair and with it, every second recorded was lost forever.
Brian popped back into the editing suite to pick something up he had realised he’d forgotten after he got home. When he saw Iain and Malcolm drunkenly sobbing he didn’t think much of it, as he had grown accustomed to this kind of behaviour from the pair. But then he saw the computer and the smashed bottle next to it. He worked it out in his head and his heart sank.
Fending off cries of “please don’t tell the Macdonald brothers” from Iain and Malcolm, both of whom were now kneeling at his feet, Brian took his phone out of his pocket and called Calum. We don’t feel it’s appropriate to repeat what was said in that conversation, but, needless to say, Calum wasn’t very happy.
The next morning all five available band members reconvened at the site of the incident. After numerous tests were carried out on the hard drive, it became clear that all was lost. “Nothing?” Rory asked. Iain shook his head and they all sat in silence for a few seconds until the phone in the middle of the table began to ring.
“Hey guys, just calling to check how last night’s editing went before I head to bed”, they all looked at each other wondering who was going to break the news to Bruce. Eventually, Iain came clean about the events that transpired the night before. Bruce hung up before he had a chance to finish. In fact, he hasn’t been returning our calls or emails since that day so, if you’re reading this Bruce, please get in touch.
Once again, we’re all incredibly embarrassed by these events and hope that we haven’t let you all down too much."

Das Gute daran ist, dass das Konzert am 2ten Augustwochenende wiederholt wird um eine neue Aufnahme zu haben.
